Speech and Language - Child's progresss checker

Two million children currently struggle with talking and understanding words. This progress checker is based on how babies and children develop skills. Choose the age of the child and then answer the questions. At the end, you will be directed to some helpful advice and resources.  Please note: This Progress Checker is different from an assessment a specialist would carry out. It should give you an idea of how a baby or child is developing and whether you need some support or advice to help you. It doesn’t take the place of an assessment by a trained professional.
